Frequently Asked Questions
-------------------------------------------------
How do I place a credit for this music in my project?
If you are developing a game for commercial use then I would normally ask that you implement the following splash screen into your game:

If using ActionScript 3: use this
If using ActionScript 2: use this

They are simple drag and drop videos and contain tidy code. Selecting the video will link to freegamemusic.co.uk and continue your game in the background.

If your project has only music from me in it; you can credit it as "Music: Anthony Kakanskas".
If your project has many pieces from different people, you can credit me as "(Title) Anthony Kakanskas (freegamemusic.co.uk)".

It is important that you replace the word Title with the Actual Title of the piece that you are using!
-------------------------------------------------
Can you write original music for my project?
Yes. I take requests for all kinds of music. Please contact info.freegamemusic@gmail.com with any requests and I will see what I can do.
-------------------------------------------------
What if I want specific or edited versions of music already available on the site?
Contact info.freegamemusic@gmail.com  with any requests for edited versions of tracks already available on the site i.e. "I would like this loop without drums please"
-------------------------------------------------
Are the loops only available in uncompressed .wav format?
Yes, however if you contact info.freegamemusic@gmail.com  I can send you another file type (i.e. mp3, mp4a)
-------------------------------------------------
Is this music free to use?
Yes.
-------------------------------------------------
What about for use in a commercial project?
Yes please do use my music in your commercial project as long as you have credited me (see above)
-------------------------------------------------
Do I have to put the credit where people can see it?
Yes. Credits change from media to media - but in general a credit needs to be placed such that a person who wants to know where the music came from should have no difficulty in finding it. A resonable effort may be expended (e.g. clicking on a credits option) but the credit should not be obscured.
